2024 Momentous Games

Have you and your friends ever talked about the glory days? Back when you played sports, when you had field day in school and you could find out who was the fastest, who was the best? Here’s your chance to recapture that glory!

The Momentous Games is an adult (18+) field day that allows you to bring your squad and show the competition who runs sh*t. Come show them you still got it and get these bragging rights. No specialized skills required! While this is an adult (18+) field day, all ages can attend and cheer!

Proceeds will support Momentous Impact. Momentous Impact's mission is to raise funds and awareness for Black mental health initiatives and HBCU scholarships to help our community.

Games

Team captains will choose 6 events that their team will compete in. Captains, you'll be asked to pick the 6 events when you register your team. Free Agents will participate in the games picked by the Captain of the team to which they're assigned.

• Survivor Tag (Bracket)
  • Pull the other teams flags. Whoever eliminates all the other teams’ members first wins.
• Cornhole (Bracket)
  • Each player tosses 4 bags for their team per game. 1 point for a bag on the board, 3 points for a bag in the hole. Highest score after all 4 players wins the game.
• Obstacle Course Relay
  • Be ready to run, jump, spin and throw. Once one member makes it through the course, the next member can start. All relays are head to head. Fastest overall times win.
• Tug O War
  • Pull the other team over the line.
• Football Toss
  • The most footballs in the target in 30 seconds. Each player on the team throws for 30 seconds. Highest scores win.
• 8 Legged Race
  • All 4 players are attached at the ankles. Cross the finish line with the fastest time to win.
• Team Vertical Jump
  • The highest jumps of all 4 team members are added up and the team with the highest collective vertical jump wins. 
• 3 Point Shot Race
  • Most 3 point shots made in 30 seconds. All 4 team members scores will be added up. Highest collective scores win.
• 40 Yard Dash
  • Head to head races. 1 point for each team member win. Fastest collective time will be tiebreaker.
• Sled Push Relay
  • Head to head races. Fastest collective time wins.
• Dodgeball
  • You know this one. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
• Soccer Penalty Kicks (Bracket)
  • All team members kick one penalty shot versus a goalie. Most goals advance to next round.
